50 Questions 50 Answers, ViVi 2015 May

 Translations of Questions 13~29:

YH: Bond(connection). Not just only during the concert, I wish I can connect with them for good.
CM: I am greatly indebted (for all you have done for me). That’s it. I can’t find any other word.

Q14: Which was the luckiest work (that others probably would envy)?
YH: The one in Singapore the other day. I was ready for busy schedule but all what I did was just to keep eating crabs! I was like “This must be work, right? Working can be like this? “. I kept eating that much.
CM: Photo shooting in foreign countries and the Nissan concert. So many people worked just for us, oversea shooting is such a hard work and they made the large-scale staging possible. It’s more like I’m so blessed than being just lucky.

Q15: Which concert has given you the deepest impression in 10 years?
YH: The Tokyo Dome concert during the Tour 2012. That was the first time that I cried on the stage ever in 10 years. I don’t usually cry in front of people but I cried a lot that day.
CM: The Nissan concert in 2013. Not just the size of the venue but everything was huge and the biggest concert ever we had. There are so many artists but when I thought of how many artists can actually have a chance to stand on that stage… that was truly unforgettable meaningful experience.

Q16: What will be the 10th anniversary gift for each other if you have a chance to send?
YH: Ummmmm probably LEGO? Because I know Changmin likes it. In that case, I would love to custom-order something special.
CM: A massage chair. Yunho always pushes himself to the limit. So I want him to sit back and relax at home.

Q17: What would you be if you had not become a member of TOHOSHINKI?
YH: A detective! That was my dream job when I was little and I used to study (to make my dream come true).
CM: I guess I’d be in the middle of the job hunting now.

Q18: Any mysterious part of each other that you don’t know yet even after 10 years?
YH: Not really because we’ve known each other long enough. But, one thing, I’m curious what Changmin is doing when he stays home alone. But I guess I’d better not know it? LOL
CM: Well, Yunho… he bumps into people so often when he is walking. When you are walking, you try to avoid people right? But he doesn’t notice them. He just keeps walking straight and bumps into people. It’s really odd LOL

Q19: Anything you want to get within next 10 years?
YH: I want to buy a watch as a gift for myself, something like a brand’s 10th or 20th memorial watch.
CM: A sports car, house…any ordinal things that a man dream of.

Q20: Which music video was the hardest one in 10 years?
YH: “Why”. It took us the whole 3 days and we didn’t sleep much.
CM: “Something”. All other previous music videos were about being cool but “Something” was to express a womanizer. We had to shoot the video with so many girls and I had butterflies in my stomach LOL

Q21: Has your girl’s type change since 10 years ago?
YH: 10 years have passed and I have no type now. Before, I used to have an ideal girl figure like “she is the one!” but now, anyone I fell in love is the one.
CM: Not changed, it’s more like aspects that I ask for a girl has been added. I want a girl to be active and have a job or hobby etc. I didn’t care small stuff this much before though….

Q22: The the most joyful moment in 10 years?
YH: Being on the stage is the best happiest moment all the time. I can feel like “I’m the artist” when we are singing the last song for a concert together with fans. CM: My solo travel. I visited Italy all by myself last year. All the trip that I went before were either with fans or staff. That was the very first time that I went on a trip all by myself. It was very new and weird to me.

Q23: A new thing that you want to learn?
YH: Study a driver license for a large-capacity motorcycle.
CM: English and guitar. I’m not thinking to compose a song, not that far but I want to be good as to play a song.

Q24: What is the most grown-up part of you since your debut?
YH: I was quit strict about performing on the stage before but I guess I know how to relax in a good way now. Not just to sing songs, I want to touch my fans’ hearts and to enjoy together. This change could be the grown-up part of me.
CM: I think my performance has been improved but I know it’s not good enough yet at all. I strongly believe so. In my private life, I enjoy “living” better now like eating, bathing, drinking tea etc… I enjoy those small stuff now.

Q25: What will be your last supper for the end of the world?
YH: I was born and raised in the City of Food. So I want to have the local food from my hometown.
CM: I’d rather to be with someone I love instead of eating something. I mean it’s the end of the world. You should not be eating, don’t you think so?! Sorry for ruining your point though

Q26: What item do you believe (or people tell you) that it looks good on you the best?
YH: A suit. (Then Yunho asked his staff “what looks good on me?” and the staff answered “A suite, jacket. Anything beautiful, I think”) Yup. I was right.
CM: A long coat. I like it, and actually people around me said it looks good me.

Q27: What is the food or drink that you have often enough to admit that your body is made from?
YH: Iced chocolate drink. It’s like cocoa. It’s hard to find it in Japan though. I drink it everyday when I’m in Korea. You can judge on a restaurant by iced chocolate drink. I can even tell if they are doing good job or cheating on the way they make the drink too.
CM: Protein and chicken sashimi. I’m trying my best to build muscle.

Q28: The thing you have been doing for 10 years?
YH: Praying before the stage. I pray like I’m ready to die on the stage, that much.
CM: Eating a lot. I love eating. Especially when you visit a small city, you can find good local food there. You can’t eat those good food all If you have a small stomach. So I try to keep my stomach big habitually.

Q29: Please recommend ViVi readers a book/movie to read/watch before we die.
YH: “Beauty and the Beast” and “Gone with the Wind”. I want you to watch it with pure heart.
CM: “SLAM DUNK”. This gives you totally different impression depending on reader’s age like “The Little Prince”. It was just a fun to read when I was young. But now, each line gets me say “Oh that’s what it meant” and it really touches me.
