MBC’s Monday-Tuesday television series ‘The Night Watchman’s Journal’, which aired in 2014 and made a hit, held a premium event on March 24 at NHK in Tokyo, Japan as a part of its promotional campaign.

Actor Jung Il-woo who played Lee Rin, and Jung Yun-ho, also known as U-Know Yunho who played Kang Moo-seok attended the event and had an unforgettable time with Japanese fans by revealing various episodes and behind stories from the filming, along with the quiz event and showing highlights of the drama.

Moreover, EDEN, trio band who sang tracks of the OST also took part in the party and performed to songs before the Japanese audience, including ‘A New Hope’ and ‘Come To Me’.

‘The Night Watchman’s Journal Premium Event 2015’ was presented three times and became packed houses, gathering a total number of 10,000 fans.

“The event was originally planned to be held twice. However, thanks to the fans’ enthusiastic responses and sold out tickets, we have decided to add one more show, which has also had all tickets sold out upon starting ticket sales. It was a good opportunity for all of us to find how they love this drama,’ said one of the insiders.

‘The Night Watchman’s Journal’, which has also made in Korea, is scheduled to air for the second time in Japan in the first half of the year. It is drawing attention as if the drama can make another big hit and gather more viewers with its second air.
