Q: Through “DIRT” and “I JUST CAN’T QUIT MYSELF”, we can enjoy the new feature of TOHOSHINKI, can’t we? Especially,”I JUST CAN’T QUIT MYSELF” features lilting Rockabilly sound and the lyrics is a bit comical.
CM: When I (first) heard this song, I imagined a night party in Okinawa or somewhere hot. Everyone is drunk、getting into the rhythm and sing out pretty loud together to enjoy themselves. I sang this song while imagining the atmosphere of such a party.
YH: This song is really fun to sing. At our live concert, I want to choreograph dance moves and song as musical. The lyrics is humorous and it is almost opposite (quite different) from DIRT. I had an image of the man being a player (womanizer), and also he does things in his own way (he doesn’t really care what other people thinks of him).
Q: Once he set his mind, he is so gung ho (laugh). He does not use his brain to think first, but he obeys a sudden impulse. Something like that?
YH: Yes, yes (laugh)
Q: Which one of the two of you are closer to the main character of this song?
CM: Of course, Yunho! (laugh)
YH: Yes, indeed, it’s me (laugh) I am the type of a man who is motivated by his heart.

[Trans] 141217 MORA interview with Tohoshinki for “WITH” Album (Part.1)
Q: How did it go with recording this album?
CM: Especially Yunho was busy, weren’t you?
YH: I had a really tough schedule. In the midst of recoding the album, I was in filming of a drama, “Diary of Night Watchman). So we focused on recording some songs first.. then there was a break, and finally we focused on finishing up recording the rest. So the tone of my singing voice for the first time and the last time I did recording is somewhat different. I think that audiences will find the difference interesting.
Q: Which songs did you record first?
YH: CHANDELIER and .. we recorded up to the first chorus of REFUSE TO LOSE and we recorded the rest just recently. So you may find the tone of my voice different in one song.
Q: How about you, Changmin?
CM: I was taking it easy. Because when Yunho did filming of the drama, we have less work to do as a duo. Therefore, I was able to relax a little.

Yunho composed, wrote the lyrics for and arranged the music for “Bang”, his solo performance for this concert. Yunho – “Every time we have a concert, I composed songs, but this time around I even arranged the music. I think of it as a surprise present. This is a song created after thinking of vampires after seeing that there is a sexy melody clothed for the new jack swing genre. I wanted to show a colour which is dynamic and different from the TVXQ strong performances.”
