• [Brief Trans] TVXQ Ment at 1/14/18 Concert in Nagoya.While talking about the “kakizome” (special piece of calligraphy for the New Year) they had done, Changmin mentioned that Yunho made a huge mistake. Yunho accidentally wrote his name in Japanese as “Yunki” instead of “Yunho” because the character for “ho (ホ)” is very similar to “ki (木)” which means “tree”. From then onwards, Changmin called Yunho “Yunki (sounds like Yun-tree in Japanese)”. Changmin added, “Yunho can write his own name normally with a pen but when using a calligraphy brush, it easily becomes ‘Yunki’”.There was an ahjumma fan who kept on calling Changmin’s name passionately, so Changmin thanked her by mentioning that even his own mother doesn’t call him with that much passion these days.

  CH: I get really emotional when fans who waited for us for three years say, “Welcome back”.

• The other day, I ran into two male fans of TVXQ at the concert venue. Both were college students. One of them had been a fan for 6 years now and the other one was introduced to TVXQ by him. Both of them said Yunho was cool but claimed to be fans of both Yunho and Changmin. They praised how they are no artists who are skilled and high quality as them in Japan. They also said that they would like to go to Korea to see their concert one day 🙂
