Changmin, we see him mostly in his music activities but he has made firm steps up/achievements constantly in his acting career. He started his acting career in the lead role in “ Paradise Ranch”, a TV drama series in Korea in 2011. In 2012, the next year, he succeeded to make his acting debut through a movie in Japan. In the film, “Fly with gold” directed by Kazuyuki Izutsu, Changmin was casted to play a very difficult role as the ex-spy from North Korea, and he received the Newcomer of the Year Award at the 36th Japanese Academy Awards together with Shouta Sometani and Masahiro Higashide. The brand new drama, “Mimi”, where he played the leading role was broadcasted in February and March this year in Korea, and it is a fantastic (excellent) love story. The DVD of this drama will be on sale on 9/26.

*[t/n: the term used here is “dan ho bak nam”, which means “resolute man”, “dan ho (ha ta)” means “resolute”, but adding some word play, in Korean pronunciation, “ho bak” also means “pumpkin”. “Black hole” means someone who is unexpectedly clueless / not very good in some things (in a cute and funny way haha).]
