His hobby is reading comic books about cooking (& food)
He became a chef because he wanted to actually make the food he saw in the comics he’d read.
He won a prestigious cooking competition in France with his lunch box.

He makes artisanal lunch boxes with an excellent palate and fancy skills, and goes on a gourmet tour once a month to come up with new menus.
On the other side of his reserved and brusque facade, he keeps his warm heart and kind regard for others hidden.
He does not open himself up to others easily, but once he does, he trusts them all the way.
To the woman he likes, he can express himself honestly.

After Gookdae’s chance encounter with Songah, who comes to FLada as a customer, the two of them enter each other’s lives in a peculiar turn of events.
When Songah comes barging into FLada with a ‘Yeo Gookdae Free Pass’ coupon in her hand, her curiosity fires up.
‘I can use you, so make me food!’
Although Songah’s acting impossible, Gookdae puts his soul into the food he makes for her, thinking that he doesn’t want to disappoint her.
But when Songah breaks a precious antique plate, Gookdae draws up a work(slave) contract, telling her ‘I don’t need money! Pay up with your body(labor)!’

Songah is a bundle of lively, perky, and quirky energy that booms out of a petite figure, at 155cm tall.
If only she had poured that energy into dating, she could have seduced a throng of men.
But when someone actually does make a fast move on her, she takes a cowardly step back for some reason.
And that is why she is still a newbie at the dating game.
She wears killer heels all the time so as not to feel small, and has bangs like curtains to conceal the scar on her forehead.

One day, She gets tangled up with hunky kkotminam chef Yeo Gookdae by chance at the artisanal lunch box shop ‘FLada’. As if being so handsome weren’t enough, the way he leads his kitchen is godlike, even.
She feels her heart drop at Gookdae’s face asking her,
“Does it taste good?”

But why is it that she can taste her mother’s cooking in the lunch box Gookdae made her?
Drunk on the happiness she feels at that very taste, Songah finds herself drawn to Flada, and falls in love.

He is tall and sports a neat look, serious about everything but has a somewhat awkward charm.
It’s hard to figure out whether you should laugh at his jokes when he makes them with a seemingly innocent smile.
He is the real deal, the kind of person who always stands by a friend in need.

A straightforward and passionate womanizer! Casanova! With his bold skinship and flashy womanizing skills, he makes his way through woman after woman.
He insists that he is a romantist when others think he’s a playboy: he dates woman because he sincerely loves them. It’s just that the love doesn’t last very long.

Kevin is the ‘perfect man’, intelligent and gentle, with a nice body in crisp suits fitted to a T.
He is a smart man, scouted from America for his current position.
Caring, kind, humorous, and well-mannered, he is no good in the respect that he leads on all the women (around him).

It seems that he’s not the only one after Songah, a bright and vivacious girl.
To make things worse, Songah doesn’t seem to mind that other dude either, and that brings out the competitive edge in Kevin’s usually calm and peaceful mind.
